Upcoming Teleseminar:

Job Offers & Alternative Work Arrangements

Upcoming Teleseminar:
Job Offers & Alternative Work Arrangements

60 Minutes with RT
Thursday September 30, 12 Noon – 1:00 PM EDT

In the wake of the recent recession, employers are reassessing the workplace. How are post-recession, alternative work arrangements affecting the life cycle of an employee? How can employers maintain flexibility in the workplace, while protecting themselves? If you are hiring, what are the best ways to protect yourself from future liability? 60 Minutes with RT will help guide you through.

Join employment lawyers Janice Rubin and Hena Singh for an informative hour-long session that will shed light on some commonly missed areas in the workplace.

What: 30-minute discussion followed by a 30-minute Q & A. Participants receive written material in advance of the Teleseminar.

You will learn:

  • The differences between being an employee, a fixed-term employee and an independent contractor;
  • What happens when these relationships end and how to avoid unexpected legal liability;
  • Practical tips for hiring, offer letters and contracts.

Train up to four employees for $99.

Seminar fee includes:

  • reference material (in pdf form)
  • up to 4 participants from your organization

How it works:

  1. Register online and submit your payment via PayPal – we accept VISA and Mastercard.
  2. One week before the seminar we will provide you with a dial-in number and send you a pdf copy of the seminar materials.
  3. On the day of the seminar, join the call on an individual line or speaker phone. An operator will welcome you to the seminar and moderate the Q & A session.

We regret there are no refunds for cancellations; however, substitution of attendee is permitted up to and including the day of the seminar.
