Jennifer White has been helping clients work through complex workplace issues and improve their internal relationships for nearly twenty years. Jennifer believes that a balanced and thoughtful approach to investigating matters always yields the best result for everyone involved. Jennifer is currently available to clients in the Ottawa and Eastern Ontario Regions.
At Rubin Thomlinson, Jennifer conducts workplace investigations into allegations of harassment and workplace violence, code of conduct violations, bullying, poisoned work environments, and other problematic workplace behaviour. Jennifer is also available to assist her clients understand their internal issues better through workplace assessments and reviews. Jennifer also provides workplace investigation and human rights training to staff at all levels.
Jennifer has extensive legal experience in unionized workplaces in both the public and private sectors. She worked in-house for the Ottawa Police Service, and has conducted numerous reviews and investigations for the Civilian Review and Complaints Commission for the RCMP. Jennifer also worked for many years as in-house counsel for an Inuit-owned airline in the Canadian Arctic. In 2012, Jennifer completed her Master’s in Law (LL.M.) with a specialization in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
Jennifer’s clients appreciate the thoroughness of her reports, her understanding of the role that workplace culture plays in employee actions, and her ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. When asked to do so, Jennifer makes thoughtful recommendations for dealing with the results of a workplace investigation.
